How to Get to us

The historic City of York, with its many attractions, is only 35 minutes away by car, or 20 minutes by train from Malton Station. We are located just off the A169 or A170, and within easy access of the A64. The main East Coast TransPennine train line from York to Malton runs regularly, and there are bus or taxi services from Malton. Pickering is easily accessible by bus services from York. We provide detailed Arrival Instructions once a booking has been made. Please see our Events Page for more detailed information about the local area, places to visit and things to do. We can also cater for guests who may be travelling in the area due to business and would be happy to discuss your requirements.

About our Location

Pickering is a very popular, busy historic market town with many attractions locally making it a great base for a holiday. There is easy access to the North York Moors, the NYMR Steam Railway, Dalby Forest, lots of pretty Moors villages and towns, and the East Coast is just a short drive to Whitby, Robin Hood’s Bay, Runswick Bay, Staithes and Scarborough. Pickering has its own Castle, the award winning Beck Isle Museum, and hosts many events throughout the year, including the 1940’s Railway in Wartime Weekend in October.
